The Coin Dinar Jewels Guarantee

Coin Dinar Jewels warrants that every piece we create is crafted to the highest standard of workmanship using certified materials. This Warranty reflects our confidence in our craft and our commitment to your lasting satisfaction.

 

1.  Scope of Warranty

This Warranty Policy applies to all jewellery or bars or investibles purchased from Coin Dinar, whether purchased through Coin Dinar.ae or via our bespoke consultation service in Deira, Dubai. The Warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection.

 

2.  What Our Warranty Covers

2.1  Craftsmanship Warranty — 2 Years

All Coin Dinar  pieces carry a 2-year craftsmanship warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects attributable to our workmanship:

  • Broken or failed clasps, closures, and settings resulting from manufacturing defects
  • Stone loss or loosening caused by defective prong setting or bezel work
  • Solder failures, joint separations, or structural breakages under normal use
  • Surface finish irregularities (pitting, porosity) caused by casting defects
  • Rhodium plating failure on white gold pieces within 12 months of purchase
  • Incorrect diamond grading or material specifications compared to what was sold

 

2.2  GIA Diamond Certification

All diamonds supplied by Coin Dinar  in bespoke commissions are accompanied by a GIA certificate (or equivalent internationally recognised laboratory report). We warrant that:

  • The diamond supplied matches the grade stated on the accompanying certificate
  • The diamond is conflict-free and compliant with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme
  • If a discrepancy between the certificate and the stone is identified by an independent gemologist, we will replace the stone or provide a full refund at your option

Every gold and silver bar sold by Coin Dinar is sourced exclusively from internationally accredited refineries certified by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) and recognised by global commodity exchanges:

Every gold bar is individually assayed, stamped, and certified by its refinery of origin.

Silver Bars — 999 Fineness

All silver bars sold by Coin Dinar carry a guaranteed fineness of 999 parts per thousand — fine silver of the highest commercial grade. Each bar is stamped and hallmarked in accordance with refinery standards.

 


 

What Our Guarantee Covers

Each bar sold by Coin Dinar is guaranteed to:

  1. Meet stated fineness — 999.9 for gold, 999 for silver, as stamped on the bar.
  2. Match stated weight — within the tolerance permitted by the issuing refinery's own specifications.
  3. Be genuine — sourced directly through authorised distribution channels, not counterfeit or tampered with.
  4. Carry authentic certification — including refinery hallmark, serial number (where applicable), and assay card or blister packaging as issued by the refinery.

 


 

Assay Cards, Certicard & Packaging Integrity

  • PAMP and Valcambi bars are supplied in sealed Certicard or VaultCombo assay packaging where applicable. The assay card serves as the bar's certificate of authenticity. Coin Dinar strongly recommends that customers retain original packaging, as it forms part of the product's proof of purity and authenticity.
  • Emirates Gold bars carry the refinery's hallmark, fineness stamp, and serial number.

Important: Any bar returned or presented for verification must be in its original, unaltered condition. Coin Dinar cannot guarantee or accept liability for bars where original packaging has been opened, damaged, or tampered with after purchase.

 


 

Verification & Returns

If you believe a product you have received does not meet the guaranteed purity or weight specification, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at:

We will arrange for independent assay testing through a certified third-party assayer. If the bar is confirmed to fall outside the stated specifications, Coin Dinar will provide a full replacement or refund at our discretion.

Coin Dinar reserves the right to decline claims where bars have been tested, resized, melted, or otherwise physically altered after purchase.

This policy is effective as of the date of purchase and applies to all gold and silver bar products sold through Coin Dinar's official channels. Coin Dinar reserves the right to update this policy; any changes will be published on our website.

 

 

3.  Warranty Registration

Your warranty is automatically registered upon receipt of your GIA certificate and Coin Dinar Jewels receipt. To ensure seamless warranty service, we recommend:

  • Retaining your GIA certificate and Coin Dinar  receipt in a safe location
  • Photographing your piece upon receipt as a record of its condition at delivery
  • Registering your purchase at Coin Dinar.ae/warranty-registration (if available) or by emailing info@kann with your order number

 

4.  Warranty Service Process

To make a claim under this Warranty:

  1. Contact us at warranty@Coin Dinar.ae or visit our Deira studio with your piece and proof of purchase
  2. Describe the defect with photographs or video where possible
  3. We will assess the piece within 5 business days and advise whether the claim falls within warranty coverage
  4. Covered warranty claims will be repaired free of charge within 15–20 business days
  5. Where repair is not possible, we will replace the piece or, at our discretion, provide a refund equal to the original purchase price

 

Warranty Assessment

Warranty assessments for items within Dubai may be conducted in person at our studio. For customers outside Dubai, please contact us first — we will advise on the safest and most cost-effective way to submit your piece for assessment. Return shipping costs for valid warranty claims are covered by Coin Dinar Jewels.

 

5.  What the Warranty Does Not Cover

This Warranty does not cover damage or deterioration caused by:

  • Normal wear and tear — scratches, minor dents, and surface abrasion are an expected consequence of regular wear and do not constitute defects
  • Accidental damage — impacts, drops, bending, crushing, or exposure to force
  • Improper care — exposure to harsh chemicals (chlorine, bleach, cleaning agents), extreme heat, or improper storage
  • Unauthorised modification, repair, or resizing carried out by a third party not authorised by Coin Dinar Jewels
  • Stone loss caused by accidental impact (a chip or crack caused by a blow, not a loose setting)
  • Tarnishing of silver pieces not maintained in accordance with our care instructions
  • Loss or theft of the piece
  • Damage resulting from failure to follow our jewellery care guidelines

 

6.  Warranty Transferability

This Warranty is issued to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Proof of original purchase will be required for all warranty claims. Gifts and items purchased as presents are covered under the original purchaser's warranty, provided proof of purchase is available.

 

 

9.  Statutory Rights

This Warranty is in addition to your statutory rights under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection. Your legal rights are not affected by this Warranty and cannot be diminished by any limitation within it.
